On the beautiful, breezy Saturday afternoon of October 4, 2014, Carro and James tied the knot in a ceremony overlooking the South River in Annapolis. It was a fun-filled, rustic-themed wedding of two best friends, with a gourmet reception in the Big Red Barn.
They were surrounded by friends from near and far – some bridesmaids and guests traveled all the way from France where the bride studied at the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Paris. Also playing a huge role in their special day were their two furry best friends – one of them escorted the bride down the aisle! Tim, the officiant, has been a close friend of the couple since college and led a very joyful and laid-back ceremony.

Carro’s bridesmaid, Erica, put together all of the lovely bouquets, boutonnières, and succulents that everyone swooned over all day and night! They were absolutely breathtaking! Ahh! One of the most important details of the day was Carro’s borrowed and blue – her mother’s earrings. They looked absolutely stunning on Carro!

After the reception, Carro and James and I whisked away outside for a couple of minutes for a quick photo outside in the late evening. The wind had picked up a lot, but made for an amazing and romantic night time photograph to end the night!
