WHAT MAKES me DIFFERENT
I have created the perfect blend of shooting and editing styles to create an authentic experience and consistent refined imagery.
There are two parts that play into how my end product can be both authentic and refined to give each couple a gallery of images that will stand the test of time:
1. how the wedding is photographed
2. how the images are edited
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
During your wedding day, I capture a mix of both candid and gently directed photos. I'll give you prompts and direction when needed to create beautiful moments between the two of you that feel candid, so that you're not in your head asking the million dollar question -
"what should I do with my hands?"
I'll have FUN with the two of you and your wedding party members while directing them to be your true hype squad. 🎉
I'll perfectly place every family member to make sure we can see everyone in a quick and organized fashion.
After the portraits are captured, I then fade into the background, and I let the rest of the events of your day and emotions unfold in front of my camera naturally.
MY EDITING STYLE
My editing style is true to color, which means I edit in a timeless and authentic way. This insures that all skin tones are correct and the colors of your florals, dresses, suits, etc. that you have spent so much time deciding on will be as they were on your wedding day. This also means that your photos will not be edited with a quick preset that seems to be an industry standard now. It is my promise that your images will never be edited in a way that changes the colors of the images to express a certain tone (i.e. "dark and moody" or "washed out/like film" styles).
This is essential for looking back at the photos years down the road and being able to remember the true look and feel of your wedding day - not just to match a current editing trend.
Your photos will be timeless.
I take pride in my work and personally edit each and every photo delivered to my couples, insuring that the full gallery received is consistent and beautiful.

Wedding collections include Christa as your lead photographer, a customized photography timeline tailored to your day, and an online gallery of consistent and beautifully edited high-resolution photos. For full wedding coverage, a minimum of 7 - 8 hours is recommended. An associate photographer collection is also available for dates Christa is already booked for.

- has earned a B.A. degree in Art + Design: Photo Imaging from Towson University
- has full liability insurance as required by most venues
- provides a pleasant, enjoyable and memorable experience
- uses state of the art Canon EOS R6 DSLR cameras and a variety of high-end Canon lenses
- is proficient with off-camera lighting for indoor photos and reception lighting
- is an Approved Business Partner with the NABSD for those who are getting married at the US Naval Academy
- provides an optional second professional, experienced wedding photographer
Associate Photographer
Stacey
While cloning Christa so she can work with two couples on the same day isn't possible (...yet), bringing Stacey on the team as an associate photographer is pretty equivalent to cloning! Stacey has worked side by side with Christa for years second shooting with her, and her work has always fit seamlessly into our couples' galleries with her similar shooting style. Stacey studied photography at the Corcoran College of Art & Design in Washington, D.C. and her love of documenting grew from there.
Stacey is passionate about both photography and history, and being a photographer is her own way of being a historian. Photography allows her to capture a couple's most special moments that will become a piece of their history. She vividly remembers the feeling of looking through her grandparents wedding photos and wants to provide couples with the same legacy to pass down from generation to generation.
When Stacey isn't photographing weddings, you'll most likely find this baseball fanatic spending time at Camden Yards routing for the Baltimore Orioles, cuddling her adorable furbaby Ellie, or traveling the globe! Her absolute favorite place she has traveled to so far is Norway.

02. Let’s Meet
In my email reply to your inquiry form there will be a link to my calendar to set up a time for us to meet and get to know each other more! This can be via a phone or video call - whichever you'd prefer!
03. Let’s Make It Official
After our call, I will send a proposal and an agreement to you. Once the signed agreement along with the retainer is received, it's officially official! I'm your wedding photographer!!
04. Engagement Session
If you've selected to do an engagement session with me, which I highly recommend, the next step is to get you two on my calendar! I love when couples get creative and choose meaningful locations for their session, and I'm happy to recommend my fave spots as well.
05. Timeline Creation
Every collection includes the creation of a photography timeline specific to your wedding day. I'll send you online questionnaires to gather in necessary information needed to create your timeline. Once created, we will have a final call to run through it and go over any questions we may have for each other. Wanna make sure you get to your cocktail hour and party? I have a method for that!
06. Wedding Day
YAY! The wedding day is finally here! Time for all your dreams to come to fruition and enjoy your day! Don't worry about timing or a thing - I have your back! As one of my past couples said, "[Christa] has her timeline skills down to a science. We never felt rushed during our wedding day. Due to her efficiency, we actually were ahead of schedule which allowed her to capture even more portraits."
07. Editing
While you two are honeymooning and settling into the newlywed life, I'm editing the photos from your wedding day selecting the best of the best and giving every image the personal care and touch that creates a beautiful and consistent gallery. This is a very important step in the process, and it's worth the wait!
08. Gallery Delivery Day
Pop the bubbly - your wedding gallery is ready! Make a date out of going through your wedding gallery together and relive your day. Your online gallery allows you to view the photos as well as download them in high-res so you can post and print them for your personal use. Share your gallery with all your family and friends so they can swoon over the photos too!
