I am very excited to post this blog because not only are Tarin and Alex a very sweet couple who had a gorgeous wedding, but their ceremony was the first one held in the newly constructed Garden Rooftop above the Sunset Ballroom at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! And what a lovely ceremony it was!

The room has many sections of floor-to-ceiling walls of glass, some of which were opened so that everyone could enjoy feeling the breezes coming off of the bay as they enjoyed the view. Tarin and Alex planned a joyous ceremony, and you could see the love and respect they have for each other.

Tarin and Alex grew up in the same neighborhood. In the fall of 2007, Alex asked Tarin to go to their high school’s homecoming, and on November 15, 2007 he asked her to be his girlfriend. Their relationship endured all these years, even many years as a long distance one while they attended two different colleges in separate states. Ten years later, on November 15, 2017, Alex said to Tarin, “Ten years ago I asked you to be my girlfriend, and tonight I want to ask you to be my wife.”

I was in awe of the many gorgeous flowers which adorned the ceremony and the reception, which was held in the Sunset Ballroom.

Tarin and Alex enjoyed strolling along the sunny beach during cocktail hour, again at sunset, and even a third time after nightfall!

Congratulations, newlyweds! It was truly such an honor to be your wedding photographer!
