Brittney and Jack hosted a beautiful Sunday brunch wedding at the gorgeous Liriodendron Mansion in Bel Air, Maryland in May. Their ceremony began promptly at 9am, and the two exchanged such beautiful and emotional vows outside in front of the mansion. From the moment Jack saw Brittney walking with her father to the ceremony during the processional, you could feel the love they have for each other and the pure joy they have when together.
Following their ceremony, their guests enjoyed a delicious brunch buffet underneath of the greenery that adorns the large porch area outside of the mansion. The two then shared a fun first dance to music performed by one of their favorite local bands, The Hooligans.
Brittney is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Brittney said that she has always known she we would design and make her own wedding gown – and wow! The gown she made was so unique and stunning.
The Liriodendron Mansion was built in 1898 and is the historic home and estate of Dr. Howard Kelly and his wife Laetitia. Dr. Kelly was a respected surgeon and one of the four founding physicians of the Johns Hopkins Medical College. The mansion, built by Dr. Kelly as a summer home for his wife, Laetitia, and their nine children, remained in the family until the early 1970s. The estate was then gifted to Harford County, which still owns the property.
Congratulations, Brittney and Jack! It was an absolute honor to be your wedding photographer!
