Cheryl and Drew were married in a beautiful ceremony inside of the Powerhouse Building of Hotel Annapolis. The two are from Kansas City, but Drew grew up in Annapolis. This city has been a special place for them throughout their relationship, as they frequently take trips to Annapolis to enjoy the water and classic Annapolis staples like Chick and Ruth’s Delly.

The two had a first look outside of the Maryland State House, and from there we made our way through the city and down to the docks for photos, enjoying the amazing springtime weather that matched perfectly with Cheryl’s lovely bouquet of peonies!

Their many out of town family members and guests enjoyed a weekend full of Annapolis activities that Cheryl and Drew planned for everyone leading up to and following their wedding day, calling their wedding weekend “Annapolis Celebration.”

Cheryl and Drew met online in the fall of 2015. They had an amazing first date at a restaurant in Kansas City. They talked for hours, losing track of time and stayed well past the closing time of the restaurant. Less than a year after they started dating, Drew took Cheryl to Maryland for the first time. Drew has a passion and pride for his home state of Maryland, and Cheryl found that to be charming and relatable to her own love for Kansas. Drew proposed at the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. The two had known for some time that they wanted to have their wedding in Downtown Annapolis.
