With my spring and early summer 2020 couples rescheduling their weddings due to COVID-19, some are wondering what a winter wedding might look like. For those who are CBBC couples, I have prepared this blog of a few photos from some of the winter weddings I have photographed at CBBC, highlighting the areas of that venue.
First up are some highlights from Emily and Daniel’s lovely December 7, 2019 ceremony and reception held in the Sunset Ballroom. They chose to hold their ceremony in the Garden Room and cocktail hour in the Garden Rooftop. The sun was setting after the conclusion of their ceremony, and we ventured outside for portraits of the couple around the grounds during sunset.
Another fantastic, elegant and lovely wedding reception was held at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club on December 29, 2018. With the couple sharing a first look prior to their church ceremony, there was enough daylight for me to take photos on Main Street and by the docks in Annapolis of the couple and their bridal party, and because their ceremony concluded early enough, we had just enough time before the sun set to take family photos on the church grounds, then travel to CBBC to take wedding party photos on the grounds at CBBC as well as plenty of gorgeous portraits of Morgan and Kevin on the beach. Take a look!
Kathleen and Scott were married on January 19, 2019 at a church ceremony, and they celebrated with a large reception held in the Sunset Ballroom. A cocktail hour is the Garden Room preceded their reception. During the cocktail hour I photographed the wedding party and couple’s portraits as they all walked along the sandy beach and in many other locations on CBBC’s property.
Late November weddings are also lovely. In fact, the last Saturday in November 2015 was warm enough that the ceremony was held outdoors!
