A strong nor’easter and the threat earlier during the week of a hurricane possibly heading right for Virginia’s Eastern Shore literally damped the well-made plans Jessica and Zack had made for their outdoor wedding ceremony on October 3rd, 2015 at the historical museum, Ker Place. But, the couple weathered the disappointment and eventually accepted the change to Plan B gracefully. That fact was certainly evident in the love and laughter they displayed for one another and with their family and friends that Saturday.
The church next door to Ker Place invited them to hold their ceremony there, indoors. And, luckily, the large white tent set up on the grounds behind Ker Place was still able to be used as planned for the reception.
A highlight of the reception was the father – daughter dance, where they performed a well-rehearsed dance routine to “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)” by Silentó. Their relationship is very touching, as can be seen in their sweet first look before leaving the house for the ceremony. Jessica even wiped away his tears.
The couple met while attending High Point University five years ago. Jessica and Zack, your wedding was so much fun and very lovely, just like the love you share! Congratulations, newlyweds!
