Kori and Drew’s lovely wedding at the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in late November was an absolute dream. The day was unseasonably warm, and the rain that was forecast held off, allowing for an outdoor ceremony!

A very memorable and fun reception was hosted for the couple in CBBC’s spacious Beach House, where fabulous and varied arrangements adorned each table. A few days later, Kori and Drew had to depart their hometown to return to where they are stationed. Later, Kori’s mother wrote to me that the entire weekend seemed like a fairytale.

This pair of Naval Lieutenants JG share a strong bond and love for each other that is simply amazing. Kori and Drew grew up in the Annapolis area, and both graduated from the Naval Academy in 2013. They knew of each other while attending the academy, and they both were political science majors, yet they were not a couple. It wasn’t until flight school in Florida that their romance took off.
