Saturday, June 6th was a lovely day for Amy and Cody’s wedding, and the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was a gorgeous venue! Amy and Cody were married surrounded by family and friends along the Bay, with the Bay Bridge behind them and the sun shinning off the Bay on what was supposed to have been a cloudy and rainy day. And just before sunset, the sky turned lovely shades of pastel pink and blue, providing lots of beautiful sunset photos! 

Amy and Cody met in high school and have been dating for about five and a half years. As Amy’s dad said during his welcome toast at the reception, he knew when the couple first started dating that this wasn’t just your average high school relationship – it was something much more. He said that these two getting married was no surprise to him at all, and he couldn’t be happier.

For the bouquet toss, Amy, who played on Catholic University’s softball team, tossed a large red and white carnation bouquet depicting a softball.

Amy and Cody, it was such an incredible honor to be your wedding photographer! I absolutely loved spending time with you two and all of your friends! I wish you the absolute best in your marriage and hope you enjoyed your honeymoon cruise!
