I recently had the absolute honor of photographing the wedding of Andrea and Aaron in Annapolis. Andrea and I became friends in high school when we were on the newspaper staff.
While both Andrea and Aaron have been working and studying for post-graduate degrees in Philadelphia, they returned to Andrea’s hometown and family church, Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, for their wedding. This was the second time I’ve had the opportunity to photograph the Greek Orthodox ceremony at this church, and both times I have been awed by the ritual and the ornate interior of the church. I have included some of the ceremony highlights in the photos below to show how inspiring it truly is.
The reception at the gorgeous Michael’s South River banquet hall featured a buffet dinner and a mix of party and traditional Greek dancing (including the money dance).
Andrea and Aaron, I had such an amazing time, and I am honored to have captured the beginning of your beautiful marriage. Congratulations to you both!
