On the breezy but sunny Saturday before Easter, I met Caitlin and Justin for their engagement session in downtown Annapolis and Quiet Waters Park. Downtown Annapolis is where Justin proposed to Caitlin the night of the Christmas boat parade that was cancelled due to the Eastport Yacht Club fire. They went downtown and saw some decorated boats anyway, had a delicious dinner, and wandered the decorated shops and streets. Justin eventually led Caitlin down to Ego Alley, where they sat on a bench and listened to music playing on a nearby boat which was decorated as a Christmas tree. Then Justin proposed!
Caitlin and Justin met during their freshman year of college at James Madison University, where they both played saxophones in the marching band.
Congratulations, Caitlin and Justin! I loved photographing you two where you got engaged!
This session is absolutely gorgeous! I love Annapolis in the springtime!
Aww, well I’m glad he couldn’t let a fire damper his proposal! My favorite are first set with the cherry blossoms!! I’m a sucker for spring photos!! You did such a beautiful job working in that bright light. Great pics Christa!!
