Katie and Alex were united as husband and wife during their wedding ceremony held outdoors atop the Sunset Ballroom of Chesapeake Bay Beach Club overlooking the bay this fall.

The view was fantastic and the weather was lovely, although it was a bit too breezy for the large shade umbrellas to be opened. I really loved the huge and amazing display of flowers adorning the top of the long, white Chuppah at the ceremony site. Another interesting detail was their cake topper they bought on Etsy. The topper’s bride and groom looked so much like Kate and Alex!

I adore the way that Katie and Alex look at each other! From the moment they locked eyes during the processional of the ceremony, they were smiling from ear to ear through the end of the night.

Following cocktail hour, a fun-filled reception was held in the Sunset Ballroom DJ’d by Jake Sherman of Washington Talent Agency.
