I recently had the honor and pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jessica and Brian at the Anchor Inn in Pasadena. The event was a fantastic fusion of two themes – nautical and superhero.

Fun superhero details were spread throughout – from the wedding cake to the tables named after famous superhero couples. Even Brian’s wedding ring is engraved with the Superman logo – which is actually quite fitting since his last name begins with an S!

Although the couple chose not to do a first look prior to the ceremony, the bride and her father decided to do one outside.

The ceremony was very touching. Jessica and Brian had written their own vows, and spoke them just before a gorgeous sunset with Rock Creek behind them. Along with everyone else, I had to hold back tears of joy.

Jessie and Brian, you two are truly an incredible couple, and I had so much fun photographing your wedding! Congratulations!
