On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in downtown Annapolis, I met up with Maggie and Nick for their engagement session. These two are so much fun, and we all shared lots of laughs during our session. Oh, and how they met is hilariously adorable!

It all started with a toddler size unicorn costume. At West Virginia Wesleyan College, Maggie was in Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and Nick was in Theta Xi Fraternity. Nick’s fraternity’s unofficial mascot was a unicorn, and for a Greek Life event in February 2011, Nick found a toddler size unicorn costume, cut off the bottom half, and wore it as a shirt with the hood up that resembled a unicorn head. Maggie ran up to him and began to pet him. But it wasn’t until later in the day that they ran into each other again and got to know each other. They went on their first date a few days later, and the rest is history!

Nick proposed to Maggie this past February with her dream ring in front of 300 people at West Virginia Wesleyan College, dressed in his same toddler sized unicorn costume. Maggie asked him when he was going to grow up. To answer her question, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!

I couldn’t be more excited for these two and loved the afternoon we spent together.
