I recently had the honor and pleasure of photographing the July wedding of Emily and Jared in Annapolis’ beautiful Quiet Waters Park and its Blue Heron Center.

Emily and Jared specifically chose their wedding date to be the anniversary of the day that Jared first told Emily he loved her 7 years ago. They also chose to have a first look prior to their ceremony, preceded by first holding hands. It was really sweet to see how they calmed one another.

Their ceremony was set for a lovely part of the park. Just after it started, a sudden pop-up shower appeared, and everyone took shelter in the Blue Heron Center, where the remainder of the ceremony took place.

The storm passed quickly, the sun shone again, cocktail hour began, and we got outside for photos!

Congratulations, Emily and Jared! I truly enjoyed photographing the love between you two!
