Amanda and Patrick’s wedding will take place in a little over one week! Since I had not yet blogged their engagement session, and because I have never photographed another session at this location, I wanted to make sure that I got this one up this week! We met up on a lovely evening last fall on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park.

Amanda and Patrick met towards the end of their senior year there, in 2014. Realizing that they would soon be going in separate directions – Amanda to medical school and Patrick with a company in Virginia – they did not start dating. However, they eventually could no longer deny their connection. Patrick requested that his company transfer him to their office in Baltimore, where Amanda was attending medical school.

One November day, following brunch in Fells Point, they walked around the water in Fells, and Patrick proposed near the edge of the pier.

I have really enjoyed getting to know Amanda and Patrick, and loved photographing them on the campus where they met! Congratulations, Amanda and Patrick! I’m so excited to photograph your wedding soon!
