Amanda and Patrick became husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony held at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Baltimore in June. Afterwards, everyone headed to The Mansion at Valley Country Club for their reception.
While planning her wedding, Amanda adhered to many of her family’s traditions, as set by the weddings of her two older sisters, while also making this wedding her own. Amanda got ready in her parents’ home, and she requested that the wedding party photos be taken on the expansive ground of her lovely childhood home. But Amanda chose her wedding colors to be those of the University of Maryland, since she and Patrick met there. The exact shade of red was duplicated for the bridesmaids’ dresses and the flowers. Oh, and Amanda looked so stunning in her gorgeous Casablanca gown with its floral lace appliques which rise from its surface!
These two are so adorable together, and I love how they look at each other! Amanda and Patrick met towards the end of their senior year at College Park. Realizing that they would soon be going in separate directions – Amanda to medical school and Patrick with a company in Virginia – they did not start dating. However, they eventually could no longer deny their connection. Patrick requested that his company transfer him to their office in Baltimore, where Amanda was attending medical school.
Congratulations, Amanda and Patrick! It was truly such an honor and privilege to be your wedding photographer!
