Marinda and Jason selected tropical-inspired Herrington On The Bay as the location for their fantastic wedding ceremony and reception. This was just what was needed to help extend the summer vibes into the fall!

They had one HUGE celebration which I don’t think anyone in attendance will ever forget! I’ll start with Marinda’s two wedding gowns – one for the ceremony and portraits and another for the reception. Her first gown was a jaw-dropping creation by Martina Liana Bridal and looked like it was made for her! Her second gown was an equally lovely ballroom gown and looked amazing on her as she danced the night away to music provided by Jason Wallace of District Remix. (Thank you, Marinda, for accepting my referral to Jason for your DJ!)

Marinda had ten bridesmaids, and Up Dos For I Dos and Pretty by Porsche were on hand to help prep all of them.

The ceremony was lovely, and many beautiful flower arrangements by Blossom and Basket Boutique adorned the ceremony site’s pergola as well as the reception tables. A threatening rain shower even held off until the end of the cocktail hour and portrait sessions.

A most memorable moment occurred immediately following the Father-Daughter dance when Marinda’s father flipped up the collar of his jacket and indicated to his daughter to read it. It was there that he had sewn in an embroidered message for her, reading “My princess is now a queen!” Aww!!!

Their night ended with a spectacular sparkler exit in the rain!

Marinda, when you first contacted me and described your wedding vision, I knew you would have a fantastic celebration, but what you planned even exceeded my expectations!

Congratulations, Marinda and Jason! It was truly such an honor to photograph your wedding and the love between you two!
