Classic. Timeless. Traditional. These are all words that describe Rebecca and Mark’s absolutely beautiful Catholic church wedding at St. Raymond’s of Penafort in Springfield, Virginia, followed by their elegant reception at Waterford at Springfield. Their wedding day was full of laughter, emotion, and happy tears, and I was feeling it all right along with them and their guests because I just love their story! Rebecca and Mark met in college in 2011 at Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania. Neither of them originally intended on being at a game night that their friends pulled them to. They did not realize they’d be meeting the one until they arrived and had the classic love at first sight moment. Soon, they were doing everything together.

In January 2014, Mark took Rebecca on a “date night” in Pittsburgh, where the two had 5-star dinner reservations and ticket to a musical at a theater nearby. Mark knelt down in the snow at Mt. Washington, which overlooks Pittsburgh, and asked Rebecca to marry him!

I first stopped at Rebecca’s parent’s home for some bridal preparation photos. Rebecca told me that her look for her wedding day was inspired by Kate Middleton.
