I recently met Melissa and Matthew for their engagement session in historic downtown Annapolis, a city that has a very special meaning for these two. Both living in Virginia, they made their first and only other visit to Annapolis to attend a music festival in Eastport. On their way to the festival, Matthew made a detour to a private water overlook and proposed! I love that these two sweethearts since high school chose to return to the city where they became engaged.

I truly enjoyed spending the evening with Melissa and Matthew! These two cuddled up together, despite the hot temperature and high humidity, and made each other giggle.
