Lisa and Will’s wedding at The Westin Annapolis in March was such an honor to photograph! They blended Hindu and Christian traditions, creating their own unique ceremony. The Westin was filled all day with so much joy and color! There were the deep pink hues of the bridesmaids’ dresses, the flowers and uplighting, and there was such an array of bright colors in the many guests’ traditional Indian wedding attire.

Lisa and Will had a very special member in their bridal party – their “Best Fur Baby”, Turbo! Not only did this adorable corgi join us for photos after Lisa and Will’s first look, but he walked down the aisle with Will during the processional, and even said a few words (aka barks) during the ceremony. After the first kiss, Turbo walked up the aisle excitedly with the new Mr. and Mrs.! Following the ceremony, Lisa changed into another traditional Indian dress for the reception. They celebrated with their many family members and friends in the large Capitol Ballroom of The Westin.

Their love story began in October 2011 when they were both invited to a mutual friend’s birthday party in Baltimore, Maryland. They were purposefully the only two single people invited to the party in an attempt to set them up. Two months later, they met again at that same mutual friends’ wedding in Atlanta, Georgia. After that wedding, the two began meeting up for happy hours and came to realize that they really enjoyed each other’s company, and the rest is history!

Lisa and Will were such a joy to work with, and their wedding day truly represented their love for each other as well as the love they have for their many family members and friends who attended! Congratulations, newlyweds!
